Keep the Change

If nothing changes, nothing changes. This is my favorite all time quote. I'm learning that who I am today doesn't have to be who I am tomorrow. I love the possibility of who I can become. I've been experiencing a transformation of sorts recently and I like it. Not sure exactly what prompted it. I didn't have a transformational moment to speak of. I just kind of realized I wanted to be better and God has been changing me. It's really cool stuff.
I'm becoming a better follower of Jesus, youth pastor, husband, dad, and human being. I am starting to see the potential of who I can be instead of dwelling on the reality of who I am. The amazing thing is that I'm not really doing anything. God is. I'm simply more surrendered and more willing to allow His process of change to happen. I'm just along for the ride. I guess this is that "living sacrifice" thing I've heard so much about. I'm praying that He will keep the change going in my life!
